Houston MLB FanFest Event Now Underway
Bagwell/Clemens exclusive figures on sale

The spawn.com gang has touched down in Houston once again, this time for the John
Hancock All-Star FanFest at the George R. Brown Convention Center through July 13.
McFarlane's Sports Picks officially licensed baseball products -- including two-up
prototypes of upcoming figures -- are on display in our gorgeous newly redesigned
booth (just look for the 15-foot-high McFarlane Sports banner) and we're selling
two exclusive figures:
- Houston Astros pitcher
Roger
"the Rocket" Clemens in his all-white home alternate uniform
- Longtime Houston Astros 1B
Jeff
Bagwell, who will be dressed in the midnight blue jersey and the goatee he sported a
few seasons ago.
The figures cost $15 each or $25 for a set. Both figures are individually packaged in a
special All-Star Exclusive clamshell container. Day 1 purchase limits are four sets per
person; those limits can and will change over the course of the event.
There was a Day 1 rush to get the exclusives and a large line, but it is moving along
efficiently thanks to a dual-register setup. As of Monday morning (July 12), there was
still some availability of the exclusive figures, though it¹s impossible to estimate how
quickly the remainder will sell out. Don’t wait too long if you want access to these pieces.
The exclusives aren’t the only reason to come by the McFarlane booth. You’ll also get to
meet several staffers and get a chance to check out the two-up prototypes of Nolan Ryan,
Yogi Berra, Roger Clemens, Jeff Bagwell, Roy Oswalt, Andy Pettitte and Lance Berkman.
Additionally, packaged samples of the Cooperstown Collection are on display on the back
wall.
The McFarlane Toys booth is located in the MVP Collector's Showcase at the event. Show
hours are: Friday, July 9, 9 AM-6 PM; Saturday, July 10, 9 AM-8 PM; Sunday, July 11, 9
AM-8 PM; Monday, July 12, 9 AM-8 PM; and Tuesday, July 13, 9 AM-6 PM.
