Nintendo of America Inc. has stepped up to sponsor Kids Free Day at the 26th National Sports Collectors Convention. Courtesy of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), all youngsters 15 and under will be admitted FREE on Friday, July 29th.

Just prior to the National, the Pokémon TCG is sponsoring a Pokémon TCG trading card giveaway at the Chicago White Sox - Boston Red Sox games at US Cellular Field. On Saturday, July 23rd, and Sunday, July 24th, attendees under the age of 15 will receive a free Pokémon TCG booster pack*, along with information about the 26th National Kids Free Day.

The Pokémon TCG also joined with the 26th National and the Chicago Daily Herald's summer reading program by distributing over 100,000 coupons through libraries in the Chicago area. The coupon invites all youngsters in the program to attend the National any day, absolutely free of charge. During the National, attendees will be able to redeem the coupon for a free Pokémon TCG booster pack* and the chance to win a Nintendo DS.
